Description


The VIOLETTA SCARF is knitted straight up in a pattern mix of single-colored and two-colored sections. First, the ball of yarn of the starting color is cut in half. The first half of the yarn is knitted in a single color rib pattern after the cast-on for the lower panel. Then continue working according to the color sequence in a two-tone box pattern. After the last pattern block, only half of the ball of the last color remains. This is used to knit the top panel again in a single color rib pattern until the yarn is almost used up and then all the stitches are bound off. The diagonal scarf is worked in garter stitch throughout. For the diagonal pattern, an increase is worked along the right edge and a decrease along the left edge in each row, so that the number of stitches always remains the same. As with the straight scarf, half of the ball of yarn of the starting color is weighed out first. Use this amount of yarn to knit the bottom panel in a single color, the middle section of the scarf in stripes according to the color sequence and the top panel in a single color again with the second half of the last color.
