Description

The VIOLA SLIPOVER is knitted from the top down, initially in back and forth rows, later in one piece in rounds. First, the yoke is knitted crosswise in rows. Stitches are then cast on from the knitted edges for the back and front pieces. The back and front sections are worked separately up to the underarm, while the V-neck is worked with edge stitches and the armholes are worked with the facing knitted on. From the underarm, the work is joined in the round and knitted in one piece to the bottom edge. Finally, the neckline trim is knitted in back and forth rows and sewn on in the V-neck point.
