Description

#Tressershirt by sinchens_knitwear

The #Tressershirt is knitted seamlessly in rows and rounds from top to bottom.

Work begins with the cable panel, which runs from the armhole of one shoulder across the back neckline to the armhole of the other shoulder.
From the long edge of the panel, stitches are picked up for the back. The shoulder slopes are shaped with short rows. Then, work continues in stockinette stitch until the desired armhole depth is reached.

The back stitches are then put on hold, and stitches are picked up from the cable panel for the left front. The shoulder slope is shaped with short rows at the armhole edge, while the cable panel continues straight along the V-neck edge.

After shaping the shoulder slope, work continues straight down to the armhole, and increases for the V-neck are worked next to the cable panel. Once the armhole depth and V-neck increases are completed, the stitches for the left front are put on hold, and the right front is worked mirrored.

To join both front halves below the V-neck, the stitches of both cable panels are prepared (depending on the size) and joined accordingly.

Stitches of the front and back are then joined on one circular needle, and new stitches are cast on under the arms. The body is worked in rounds and finished with a ribbed hem.

For the sleeves, stitches are picked up from the edges of the front and back, as well as from the cast-on stitches under the arms. The sleeve cap is first shaped with short rows, then a small gusset is worked for the sleeve shaping, and the sleeve is finished with a ribbed cuff. The second sleeve is worked in the same way.
