Description
The STELLA TOP is knitted seamlessly from the top down. First cast on stitches for the back neckline. The back is worked straight down, later with increases for the armhole rounds to the end of the armholes. The stitches in the back are then cast off and the front is knitted in the same way. For the strap, stitches are picked up from the knitted edges of the front and back of an armhole and new stitches are cast on over the shoulder. The straps are then knitted in back and forth rows with knotted edge stitches under the arms. To join the front and back pieces under the arms in the round, slip the previously cast-on stitches onto the needle and cast on additional stitches on both sides from the knotted edge stitches of both knitted edges of each strap. Then work the body in rounds to the desired length.
