Description
The #SkySweater by sinchens_knitwear is knitted seamlessly from the top down in one piece. First, the round yoke is shaped using short rows and distributed increases. The arms are then cast off and the body is closed in the round. To do this, cast on new stitches under the armpit on both sides. The body is worked straight down in the round in three strands, just like the yoke. For the lower cuff, the stitches are first bound off by overcasting, then stitches for the ribbed cuff are knitted out again from the cast-off edge using the thinner needle and double thread. The sleeves are knitted in rounds in stockinette stitch one after the other and finished with a separately knitted cuff after the body has been bound off. Finally, the neckline cuff is also knitted on with double thread using the thinner needle.
