The SIMPLE TEE-SHIRT is a simple, airy tee with slightly dropped sleeves, a small turtle neck, and decorative seams along the front, back, shoulders, and sleeves – perfect for spring and summer.

The shirt is worked seamlessly top-down. First, stitches are cast on for the short turtle neck, which is knitted in the round. Then, the neckline is shaped using short rows.

Next, slanted increases are worked on both sides of a shoulder stitch to form the shoulder area and dropped sleeves. For the armholes, the front and back pieces are worked separately back and forth, each with narrow patent edges.

Once the armhole height is reached, the stitches are joined again to work in the round. The sleeve shaping is created with centered double decreases under the sleeves. Once the desired bust width is reached, work continues in the round without further decreases, extending the seam lines visually with simple slip stitches.

The shirt finishes with a double-layered hem in tubular rib – either knitted in the round or with side slits. Finally, decorative seams in a contrasting color are crocheted along the center front and back, shoulders, and both sleeve edges.
