Description
The #QuickySlipover by sinchens_knitwear is knitted seamlessly top-down from the top down. First cast on stitches for the back neckline and work the shoulder slants in short rows. Then knit straight down over all stitches until the height of the armholes is reached. The stitches in the back are then cast off. New stitches are cast on one after the other from the cast-on edge of the back piece for the shoulders of the right and left front piece halves. Both front halves are also worked with short rows for the shoulder slopes and with increases for the front neckline. Below the front neckline, the right and left front halves are joined together by casting on a few new stitches in the middle between the pieces. Then knit back and forth across all stitches of the front piece until the same armhole height as the back piece is reached. The stitches from the front and back pieces are then cast onto the needle together, joined in the round and knitted in rounds to the desired length of the body. Finally, stitches are picked up all around from the neckline and bound off again with I-cord.
