Description
#QuickyJacket by sinchens_knitwear is knitted as a top-down style in one piece from the top down. First cast on stitches for the back neckline and work the shoulder slants in short rows. Then knit straight down over all stitches until the height of the armholes is reached. Then the stitches are set aside and stitches are cast on one after the other for the shoulders of the right and left front pieces from the cast-on edge of the back piece. Both front pieces are also worked with short rows for the shoulder slants and with increases for the front neckline. Then knit back and forth across all stitches of the front pieces until the armhole height is reached. The stitches from the front and back pieces are then placed together on the needle and joined into one piece. Knit back and forth over all stitches until the desired body length is reached and finish with a ribbed edge. For the sleeves, stitches are knitted all around from the armholes and worked in the round with decreases for the sleeve bias. The sleeves are also finished with a cuff in the cuff pattern. Next, stitches are knitted out all around the neckline to knit the cuff in the cuff pattern in back and forth rows. Finally, the knitted edges of the front pieces are either finished with a cuff or a separable zipper is sewn in.
