Description

The MARIANNA TOP + WESTE are knitted seamlessly from the top down. Both styles are initially worked in the same way: The front and back are worked separately in rows up to the armholes. To do this, the shoulder slants on the back are shaped by increases. Once the back section has been completed up to the armholes, the stitches are set aside and both halves of the front section are worked separately up to the armholes. For the straps, pick up stitches from the edge stitches of the shoulder slopes of the back piece and knit the back and front straps. The neckline and armholes are shaped by increases. The V-neck ends at the height of the armpit. For the top, the stitches from the front piece halves and the back piece under the armholes are then picked up together on a circular needle and knitted in rounds to the bottom. For the vest, the stitches from the front piece halves and back piece are also joined, but worked in back and forth rows with double edge stitches on both sides.
