The LunaSweater is knitted seamlessly in one piece from top to bottom. The work begins with the two neckline trims, which are worked one after the other in a narrow cable pattern in back-and-forth rows. For the first shoulder, the stitches of both trims are joined, and the shoulder saddle is knitted in a cable stripe pattern from the neckline towards the sleeve.

Next, the provisional cast-ons of the trims are undone, and the stitches of both trims are placed on the needle to knit the other shoulder from the neckline towards the sleeve.

From the long knitted edge, stitches are picked up for the back piece, which is knitted back and forth to the armholes.

Once the front piece is knitted in the same way to the armholes, the stitches of the front and back pieces are joined, and the body is completed in rounds.

From an armhole, new stitches are picked up, and the resting stitches of the shoulder saddle are included. The sleeve is then worked in rounds, and the other sleeve is made in the same way.
