Description

The #LausanneSweater by sinchens_knitwear is knitted seamlessly and top-down from the top down. First cast on stitches for the stand-up collar and knit the collar in rounds in rib pattern. Then mark four increase points for the shoulder yokes that have been moved to the front and work increases on both sides before and after the shoulder yokes in each round until the required circumference is reached. The increases are knitted in such a way that the new stitches fit into the rib pattern of the front and back pieces. The marked stitches of the shoulder yoke do not change. Then place 4 more markers and work a raglan yoke with increases at the 8 raglan markers. Then the sleeve stitches are set aside, the front and back stitches are joined in the round and worked in rounds in rib pattern. Accentuated decreases are worked on the body in the front and back to create slightly slanted ribbing on the chest. Finally, an end cuff is worked with the thinner needle. The stitches set aside for the sleeves are picked up again, joined in the round and worked in a rib pattern. When the required sleeve length has been reached, a cuff is knitted with the thinner needle. NOTE: You can also rest the stitches after a small section of the body, finish the sleeves first and then finish the body without running out of yarn.
