Description

The #LausanneSlipover by sinchens_knitwear is knitted seamlessly as a top-down style from the top down. First cast on stitches for the stand-up collar and knit the collar in rounds in rib pattern. Then mark four increase points for the shoulder yokes that have been moved to the front and work increases on both sides before and after the shoulder yokes in each round until the required circumference is reached. The increases are knitted in such a way that the new stitches fit into the rib pattern of the front and back pieces. The marked stitches of the shoulder yoke do not change. For the armholes, the front and back pieces are then worked in back and forth rows, with the stitches from the shoulder yokes being incorporated into the front piece. Double edge stitches are worked on both sides for the armhole trims. The armhole of the back piece is knitted higher than the front piece by the height of the front neckline so that the entire yoke tilts forward and forms a front neckline. The stitches are then closed in the round again, decreasing at the double edge stitches of the armholes so that the stitches fit into the rib pattern and can be knitted in the round again over all stitches. Then change to a thinner needle size for the bottom edge.
