Description

The GRAZIA SWEATER is knitted from the top down, first in back and forth rows, then in one piece in rounds. First, the yoke is knitted crosswise in rows. Stitches are then cast on from the knitted edges for the back and front pieces. The back and front pieces are worked separately up to the underarm. For the front pieces, increases are made simultaneously for the V-neck and the armholes. From the underarm, the work is joined in the round and new stitches are cast on under the arms. The body is then knitted in one piece to the bottom edge. For the arms, stitches are picked up from the knitted edges of the front and back pieces and from the stitches cast on between the front and back pieces and the stitches cast off from the saddle yoke are picked up. The shoulder round is then knitted in short rows and later in rounds with sleeve decreases. Finally, the neckline panel is knitted on in back and forth rows and sewn on in the V-neck point.
