The GIOVANNA SHIRT BY TANJA STEINBACH with shoulder yoke and trims in a small pearl pattern. The shirt is knitted seamlessly from the top down. First cast on stitches for the back neckline and three stitches for each shoulder. Then the shoulder increases are worked using the contiguous method. This involves knitting shoulder seams and armholes using increases. When the shoulder width has been reached, the increases for the V-neck are begun. The increases are worked in every second row. At the same time, stitches are also increased for the back and front. After dividing the sleeve stitches, the lower part of the body is knitted straight. If you like, you can work additional increases for a slight A-line. As the shirt is knitted from the top down, it can be tried on at any time after the sleeves have been cast off and the length and width adjusted. The shirt can be worked in one or two colors in a colorblock style. In the two-tone version, the contrasting color is used in the circular knitted part of the front and back.
