The #FreestyleShirt is knitted seamlessly in the round from top to bottom.
First, stitches are cast on for the neckline and joined in the round. The front neckline is shaped with short rows, during which the first raglan increases are also worked. After the neckline is completed, knitting continues in rounds to complete the raglan yoke.
Next, sleeve stitches are placed on hold, and the body is continued in the round. Additional stitches are cast on under the arms. The bottom edge is finished with a double stockinette hem with a fold-over edge.
For the sleeves, the held stitches are picked up again, and new stitches are cast on under the arms. The sleeves are worked in stockinette stitch in the round and finished with a double stockinette hem with a fold-over edge.
Finally, new stitches are picked up around the neckline, and a double stockinette hem with a fold-over edge is worked here as well.
The shirt can be knitted either in a solid color or in a striped version with solid-colored hems.
