Description

The FLAVIA SWEATER BY TANJA STEINBACH is knitted in one piece and seamlessly from the top down. First cast on stitches for the neckline. Then the neckband is worked in the rib pattern in rounds, followed by short rows across the back and sleeves for the front neckline. Then knit over all stitches again in rounds in a striped pattern, working the increases for the round yoke into the stockinette rows of the pattern. After the yoke, the sleeve stitches are set aside and the body is worked in the round to the bottom of the cuff. Then the sleeve stitches are picked up again and both sleeves are finished individually in rounds, continuing the stripe pattern of the yoke.
