Description

The ELENA CARDIGAN is knitted in back and forth rows from the bottom up. The front, back and sleeves are worked in separate pieces up to the armpits and then joined together on the circular needle. A raglan yoke is then joined over the stitches of all the pieces, continuing the facings started on both front pieces. When there are no more stitches between the decreases on the sleeves, start the decreases for the front neckline. The raglan decreases are then only continued over the back and front pieces. The collar is then knitted over the remaining stitches, folded over to the outside and sewn on. Finally, the pockets are knitted separately and sewn to the center of the front pieces.
