The DesperateHousewifeCardigan is worked flat from the top down in one seamless piece. After the neckline trim, short rows are used to raise the back neck, followed by the yoke with increases in each broad stripe of color. Next, the sleeves are separated, and the body is completed. The sleeve stitches are then picked up again, worked in rounds, and finished with cuffs. Finally, the button bands and pockets are added.
