For the hat, first knit the lower cuff in rib pattern, then knit stockinette in rounds. For the round of the hat, knit and purl decreases evenly and work the decreases at increasingly shorter intervals. The scarf is knitted lengthwise in solid stockinette stitch. The muff is worked in rounds in stockinette stitch to the desired length. A knitted I-cord is then sewn on for hanging TIP: Read the pattern through once and mark all the details for the desired size. That way you can always keep track.
