#CozyCableSweater by ann.ka.thrin
The CozyCableSweater is a cozy cable-knit sweater designed to be worn oversized. It is knitted seamlessly from the top down. First, the shoulder yokes are worked. Stitches for both yokes are cast on one at a time, knitted in a cable pattern, and placed on hold once the desired shoulder length is reached. The yokes are then positioned so that the cast-on edge forms the neckline, and the held stitches are used to continue working the sleeves. Stitches for the front and back pieces are picked up and knitted first in rows and then together in rounds.

For the prominently emphasized side slits at the bottom, highlighted by decreases, the front and back sections are separated again and worked in back-and-forth rows. The sweater is slightly cropped overall, but the pattern also includes instructions for lengthening the body. The sleeves are picked up and knitted in rounds. They are generously cut but taper towards the cuffs using symmetrical decreases.
